A commitment that continues beyond the crisis.
From disaster relief to education and community partnerships, Rebuild Dominica brings volunteer expertise, material resources and generosity together in service of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
We began after Tropical Storm Erika in 2015. The work since then shows what can happen when people across the diaspora and on the island turn a shared concern into coordinated action.

When the need is urgent, connection matters.
After Erika and Maria, families and frontline responders needed supplies, equipment and the means to move them. RDI’s response connected medical expertise, donors, shipping partners and volunteers.
Medical supplies valued at $400,000 USD.
RDI’s April 2018 release records a Project C.U.R.E. donation of medical equipment and supplies, with the emergency container arriving in Dominica on December 25, 2017. Infinity Wealth Management and the Law Offices of Gabriel J. Christian helped underwrite shipping.

At Caribbean Cargo DC’s September 19 fundraiser, volunteers filled more than ten large shipping barrels with clothing, school supplies, linen, toys and non-perishable food. RDI’s 2017 reporting also records donated storage space and reduced shipping rates from CCDC.
